FOUNDER AND OWNER
MANNY
With a strong background in the game as a former MLS academy and USL player, Manny brings nearly a decade of coaching experience and leadership into youth development. As the founder of Step UpLevel Up Soccer, he has worked with players across multiple levels, guiding their growth through elite training programs, ODP involvement, and collaborations within high-performance development environments.
Manny has participated in overseas trials in the UAE and Spain, and has previously been identified within FESFUT's national roster pool for the El Salvador U23s, along with experience within the USA U12-U15 youth national training pool and Junior Olympics.
A proud Indiana University Hoosier, Manny blends high-level playing experience with modern training methodology and a genuine passion for player development. Known for his technical eye, attention to detail, and ability to connect with players, he focuses on building confident, intelligent athletes who are prepared to compete, grow, and elevate their game to the next level.
HEAD COACH/TRAINER
MARC
With a strong playing background that includes experience in Spain and the USL, Coach Marc brings a wealth of on-field knowledge and tactical understanding to every session. Over the past several years, he has led high-level development programs and worked with players across multiple age groups, helping them refine their technical ability and game awareness.
With over five years of coaching experience and respected coaching licenses, Marc blends professional insight with a constant drive to learn, grow, and evolve as a coach. His sessions emphasize intensity, detail, and game-realistic training, challenging players to compete, improve, and step confidently into the next level of their development.
Director of GoalKeeping/Head GK Trainer
Carlos Schulze
Carlos Schulze is a USSF A-Licensed goalkeeper coach with over 20 years of experience developing players from grassroots to national team level. He has worked within professional club environments and at the international level, including roles with Chile's Women's National Team and El Salvador's U-20 & Senior Men's National Team during World Cup qualifying cycles. Throughout his career, he has helped guide goalkeepers across youth, collegiate, and elite competitive pathways.
In addition to his on-field coaching experience, Carlos has served as a Director of Coaching and Goalkeeper Director for several top organizations in California, leading goalkeeper development systems and mentoring athletes and coaches at scale. He is also a US Soccer Coach Educator and goalkeeper specialist, recognized for his ability to teach the position with structure, detail, and a strong foundation in modern goalkeeper methodology.
As SuLu's Goalkeeper Director, Carlos will lead all goalkeeper-specific trainings and development initiatives. Through SuLu Goalkeeper Performance Clinics, he oversees specialized sessions focused on position-specific technique, decision-making, and game-realistic training environments designed to elevate goalkeepers at every level.
